Leaving the Etats-Unis

I had originally planned on waiting until I was in France to post something, but seeing as I may not have much access to the Internet for a little while, I thought I'd at least post once before I leave. The title and purpose of this blog is self-explanatory, and I really do hope to keep everyone informed as to what I'm doing in France and the rest of Europe, as well as keep a journal/record for myself. The memories and photographs will honestly be my biggest and most precious souvenirs from this study abroad experience. I know that I will have many stories- from classes and travels and more- that I will want to share with those of you who choose to follow this blog. I am beyond excited to leave for France on Saturday. The summer has passed quickly, and I'm ready for a new academic year full of promise and even challenges.
